Silent Disco – Ticket Holder Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending a Silent Disco event organised by best silent discos/barretts business group limited, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Ticket Purchase & Entry

• All tickets are sold subject to availability.

• A valid ticket must be presented for entry. This may be in digital or printed format.

• Tickets are non-transferable unless stated otherwise.

• The event organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person who does not comply with these terms.

• Ticks are for adults over the age of 18 only. Anyone proven to be under the age of 18 or that is unable to prove their age with a government issued identification such as passport, drivers license will be removed or refused entry without a refund.

2. Cancellations, Refunds & Event Changes

• Tickets are non-refundable, except where: The event is cancelled by the organiser. The event cannot take place due to Government restrictions or force majeure (see Section 10).

• In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will receive either: A full refund (excluding transaction fees), or Credit towards a future event.

• No refunds will be issued for: Failure to attend. Late arrival. Early departure.

• Refunds will not be issued to anyone that unable to verify their age. Under 18s are not permitted at this event. 

• Refunds will not be issued to anyone that is removed from the venue for breach or terms and conditions.

3. Event Timings & Entry

• Entry times and event duration are advertised in advance.

• Late arrivals may not be permitted entry once the event has reached capacity or for safety reasons.

• The organiser reserves the right to amend event timings where operationally necessary.

4. Silent Disco Headphones – Use & Responsibility

• Silent disco headphones remain the property of best silent discos/barretts business group limited at all times.

• Each guest is responsible for the equipment issued to them.

• Any loss, theft, or damage to headphones will result in a replacement charge of up to £50 per unit.

• Headphones must be returned at the end of the event in the condition they were issued.

• Failure to return headphones will be treated as loss and charged accordingly.

5. Behaviour & Conduct

• Guests must behave respectfully towards staff, performers, security, and fellow attendees.

• Abusive, aggressive, threatening, or antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated.

• The organiser reserves the right to: Refuse entry. Remove individuals from the venue. Terminate headphone use without refund.

• No refunds will be issued for removal due to misconduct.

6. Damage to Equipment & Property

• Any guest causing damage to equipment, venue property, or third-party property will be held fully liable for repair or replacement costs.

• This includes damage caused intentionally or through reckless behaviour.

• Costs will be charged directly to the responsible individual.

7. Health & Safety

• All guests must comply with: Venue safety rules. Instructions given by event staff or security.

• The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest deemed to pose a safety risk.

• CCTV and personal safety cameras may be in use to protect guests, staff, and equipment.

8. Photography, Video & Social Media

• By attending the event, you consent to: Photography and video recording for promotional and marketing purposes. Use of images and videos on websites, social media platforms, and marketing materials.

• If you do not wish to appear in promotional material, please inform event staff on arrival.

• Images may be uploaded to online galleries accessible via event links. These galleries are not password protected.

9. Personal Property & Liability

• The organiser accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

• Attendance is at your own risk.

• Liability for personal injury or death is limited to circumstances caused by proven negligence of best silent discos/barretts business group limited

10. Events Beyond Our Control (Force Majeure)

We cannot be held responsible for event cancellation or disruption caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Severe weather

• Government restrictions

• Power failure

• Venue closure

• Staff illness

• Transport disruption

• Equipment failure

In such cases, liability will be limited to event credit.

11. Right to Amend

The organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on official event platforms.

Terms & Conditions – Make It Personal Events Giveaway

1. Promoter
   This promotion is run by Make It Personal Events. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.

2. Eligibility
   The giveaway is open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Employees of Make It Personal Events and anyone professionally connected with this promotion are excluded from entering.

3. How to Enter
   To enter, participants must complete all of the following steps:Like the Make It Personal Events Facebook pageShare the event postRespond to the event as Interested or GoingTag their chosen dancing buddy in the commentsOnly entries that have completed all required steps will be eligible.

4. Prize
   One winner will receive:Two (2) free tickets to the advertised Silent Disco event at The Landmark CentreTwo (2) complimentary drinks, including alcoholic beverages, capped at a maximum value of £10 per drinkThe prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative is available.

5. Winner Selection & DrawThe winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.All required entry conditions will be checked and verified at the time of the draw.The prize draw will take place once 80 tickets for the event have been sold.

6. Winner Notification
   The winner will be contacted via Facebook direct message within 48 hours of the draw. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, Make It Personal Events reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

7. GeneralMake It Personal Events reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion where reasonably necessary.By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.Entry into this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
